A Letter to the Parents

Dear Parents:

Hello, my name is Jessica Strauch.  As a mother of three children, I am well aware of parent’s needs and wants for their children and more importantly from the care that is given to their child in their absence.  It is often difficult for working parents to balance all the commitments and responsibilities in their lives.  While your child is at Quality Time, you will continue to have peace of mind knowing that our goal is to take care of the children in the same fashion that you would provide.

In May of 2000, I graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Teacher Certification in General and Special Education Grades K- 8.  Children have been part of my life since 2000, when I got my first job as a Learning and Languages Disabilities Teacher at Lenox Elementary School in Pompton Lakes, NJ.  While teaching in the Pompton Lakes School system, I completed a Masters Degree in Education in May, 2006 from Marygrove College. In addition, I completed graduate courses in Reading and Inclusive Education from Farleigh Dickenson University.  I am also trained to use the Orton Gillingham Reading Approach, an explicit, direct, multisensory structured phonetic approach to teach reading, writing and spelling.  In 2007 I received the Governors Teachers Award while teaching in the Pompton Lakes School District.

I am eagerly anticipating the challenge of being an integral part of your children’s future.
Trust is of utmost importance to me, both with the children and their parents.

Quality Time will continue to offer a safe, learning environment where your child will be accepted, nurtured and stimulated. If you have any questions or concerns pertaining to any aspect of your child’s care, my door is always open to you. Please feel free to contact or visit me at the center.

Thank you for choosing Quality Time.

Sincerely,
Jessica Strauch
