Kindergarten registration will be held at the Robert F. Drummond Administrative Offices (31 State Route 181) in Lake Hopatcong/Jefferson Township from March 13-17, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (see schedule below). Your child need not be present during registration. Only those children who will be five years of age before October 1, 2017 will be eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2017.
Your cooperation is asked in following the schedule below. Registration for students whose last name begins with:
A-E – Monday, 3/13 P-S – Thursday, 3/16
F-J – Tuesday, 3/14 T-Z – Friday, 3/17
K-O – Wednesday, 3/15
This process is to verify residency. Your child will be assessed at a future date in May.
If it is not possible for you to register your child on the day indicated, please call (973) 663-5780 ex 5094 to make other arrangements. Please do not contact the school.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a current resident of Jefferson Township and provide proof of residency at the time of registration. No exceptions will be made. Homeowners: picture ID, most recent mortgage statement and current tax bill. Renters: picture ID, current rental leases agreement and current utility bill (cable, electric, etc.).
- Original birth certificate (photocopies will not be accepted).
Families that do not have the necessary and complete documentation will be asked to reschedule.
